Reading books gives words to your unexpressed thoughts

Today while I was reading a book (until last year I wasn’t into reading books) , one of the paragraphs in the book was so powerful, and I was able to connect to that para so much that it made my eyes moist. And then a realization came, reading books gives words to your unexpressed thoughts, words to your unstructured thoughts, words to your thoughts, words to your experiences.

At some point in my school days I lost the habit of reading books ( I mean outside the school curriculum). I don’t remember exactly if it was because of lack of time or because I was into more interesting things, I just didn’t read books. That’s one of my biggest regrets, and to fix that, one of the resolutions / goals for 2020 is to read 16 books. Since the beginning of 2020 I have completed reading 4 books and I am on my way to completing the fifth book.
